I’m the Director of Admissions for our Lower & Middle School programs.

Since You Asked, Here’s What I’m Most Proud Of As An Educator:

Watching our students come to realize that they are significantly more capable and powerful than they had ever imagined.

Favorite Job Perk:

Being buoyed on a daily basis by the ocean of positivity and optimism provided by our students and my fabulously gifted colleagues.

What I Wanted To Be When I Grew Up (At Age 10):

Shipwright.

What I Want To Be When I Grow Up (Now):

A good listener.

Favorite Place In The Neighborhood:

The cafe at Lilia, with an iced Americano in one hand, and a bomboloni in the other.

Favorite Place In The World:

Anywhere I can go for long walks with my wife and daughter.

Favorite Place In My Imagination:

Downstage center of the Olivier at the National Theatre.

My Desert Island EDC (The handful of things you cannot live without):

A decent notebook, a sturdy pen, an old baseball cap.

I Knew I Wanted To Work At Northside When:

I had a chance to observe the faculty working in their classrooms.  Great teaching requires nothing less than a Promethean effort, and Northside is brimming with educators that are ready to steal some fire and set their students’ imaginations ablaze!

Secret Dream Job:

Fronting the Red Hot Chili Peppers.
