Once your Parent/Guardian Application and non-refundable payment of $65 are submitted, the Admissions Office will call you to schedule your child’s admissions assessment. For the admissions assessment, your child will engage in a developmentally appropriate play/conversation-based assessment. 

Note: The application fee is waived for all financial aid applicants.

We require a teacher recommendation form from your child’s current teacher. Current school records are only applicable to Grade 1 applicants. Please contact your current school and ask that they email the records to us at admissions@willnorth.org 

Schools should not send transcripts or recommendations before mid-November, at the earliest, to give faculty time to know your child.

For completed applications submitted by January 12, 2023, admissions notifications will be sent on:

All student applicants are required to submit recent admissions testing results from the ISEE (Independent School Entrance Examination). This testing should take place during the fall of your child’s application, between October and January. Preferred dates for testing do fill, so be sure to register for testing as early as possible.

Because testing happens at Northside, upon registration, please use the following school code: 530067 or find us by our school name - Williamsburg Northside School. 

Fees for this testing range from $140 to $200, but fee waivers are available for all financial aid applicants. After submitting your preliminary application to Northside, please contact Alyssa Estevez, Director of K-8 Enrollment and Strategic Planning, to request a fee waiver.
